Abstract:In order to solve the problem of fixed dams affecting flood discharge in river flood control projects, the optimization of dam structure is carried out to achieve the synergy of river flood discharge, water storage and landscape functions. Taking the reconstruction project of the Ershibu River Weir Dam as an example, the original fixed dam is converted into a movable dam. Combined with the engineering conditions and technical requirements, four typical movable dam types of bottom shaft flap gate, hydraulic dam, rubber dam and gas shield dam are selected for technical comparison. After comprehensive demonstration, the gas shield dam is determined as the recommended scheme. The design analysis is carried out around the four core contents of the engineering layout, hydraulic characteristic calculation, anti-seepage and drainage settings, and dam stability review of the gas shield dam. The relevant design points can provide technical references for the design practice of such fixed dam reconstruction projects.
