Abstract:Aiming at the technical challenges of open tidal riverway projects significantly affected by tides, complex construction environments and extremely high requirements for the stability and anti-seepage of supporting structures, combined with the maintenance and reinforcement project of the Huangpu River embankment, a systematic study is conducted on the application technology of single-row composite steel sheet piles. Firstly, its advantages such as convenient construction, good economy, land-saving, environmental protection and energy conservation of the structures are discussed. And then, through numerical simulation, the force changes and displacement deformations under multiple constructing conditions are analyzed. Finally, the optimized technical scheme is successfully applied in engineering practice. The results show that the single-row composite steel sheet piles can effectively meet the stability and seepage prevention requirements of the foundation pit during the maintenance implementation of the open tidal riverway embankment, and the research results have important reference value and promotion prospects for the projects under the similar environments.
