Abstract:In view of the characteristics of high requirements for power supply reliability and strong load continuity in large-scale wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs), the design and analysis on a 10 kV three-power four-segment power distribution system are conducted. Combined with the process load characteristics, relevant design codes, and operation and maintenance requirements of WWTPs, taking the 10 kV three-power four-segment power distribution system of a WWTP as an engineering example, the power supply reliability, load distribution principles and operation flexibility of the system are emphatically studied. The results show that the power distribution system can effectively improve the power supply reliability and operation scheduling flexibility, narrow the scope of power outage caused by faults, meet the requirements of continuous and stable operation of WWTPs, and reduce the one-time investment in electrical equipment as well as the complexity of operation and maintenance management, which can provide a technical reference for the optimal design and safe operation of power distribution systems in similar WWTPs.
