Abstract:The Jingui Road Bridge crossing the Liuyang River is a double-pylon double-plane low-pylon cable-stayed bridge with the main span of 120 m. Its structural style is in the pylon-beam consolidation and pylon-pier separation. The bridge pylon is a C60 reinforced concrete structure. The pylon body leans outward in an arc curve, and the two horizontal pylons form an “figure-eight” shape. The girder is a three-way prestressed concrete structure with a single-box five-cell section. The standard width of the bridge is 37.5 m, locally widening to 40.4 m at the pylons. The stay cables are arranged in a double-plane harp-type spatial configuration. The stay cables are made of filled epoxy steel strands and diamond-shaped branch pipe saddles. Through the calculation and analysis of the limit states of the girder and the bridge pylon, the structure is safe and reliable. The implementation process of the bridge also indicates that the adopted construction scheme is reasonable and feasible, which can provide a reference for the construction of similar bridges.
