Abstract:To clarify the variation pattern of prestressed load effects on curved bridges, taking a curved equal-section prestressed concrete beam bridge as the research object, the mechanical properties of bridges under prestressed loads with curve radii of 90、120、200、350、500 m are studied. The research results indicate that: (1) under prestressed loads, the beam body of the curved beam bridge exhibits a tendency to “bulge out” towards the outside. (2) As the curve radius continuously decreases, the transverse shear force and bending moment continuously increase, while the torsional moment continuously decreases, with minimal impact on the vertical shear force and bending moment. (3) Under prestressed loads, the inner and outer supports exhibit significant unevenness at different curve radii, and as the curve radius continuously increases, the difference in reaction forces between the inner and outer sides continuously shrinks. The research conclusions can provide theoretical references for the design and construction of curved prestressed concrete bridges.
