Abstract:The sunflower-shaped arch bridge is named for its structure where a web arch is set on the main arch, and its overall shape resembles a sunflower. With its aesthetic appeal and reasonable load-bearing performance, it is increasingly widely used in urban landscape bridges and main road bridge projects. Such bridges mostly adopt multi-span continuous arch structures, the arch axis lines are complex and the requirements for the coordinated force of the superstructure and substructures are high. During the construction process, the key indicators such as the accuracy of the arch axis, the stability of the support, concrete cracks, and the durability of the structure should be strictly controlled. To address the difficulties in construction control, relying on the Jiulonghu Bridge in Guangzhou Knowledge City, the control points are deeply analyzed and the countermeasures are proposed from the construction techniques of key parts such as arch seat pier, main arch ring, web arch ring and continuous longitudinal beam. By strengthening the design of formwork and support systems, precisely controlling the arch axis, and optimizing concrete construction and monitoring schemes, the quality, safety and schedule control throughout the bridge construction process have been realized, ensuring the structural stability and durability of the project.
