苏州古城古建老宅活化利用路径探析

Analysis on Revitalization and Utilization Path of Ancient Buildings and Old Houses in Ancient City of Suzhou

古建筑是千年苏州古城遗留下来的一笔丰厚的有形财富，而古民居是苏州古建筑中数量最多的建筑形式，是中国古民居的一个典型缩影，这既是苏州作为历史文化名城的主要元素之一，也是苏州独特的古城风貌最为显著的体现。2021年苏州入选全国首批城市更新试点城市，姑苏区积极探索传统民居活化利用。回顾苏州古城40多年保护发展历程，通过多个项目对比和借鉴，从土地、政策和金融等层面，为苏州市城市更新试点、名城保护示范区专项试点提供策略和可实施路径参考。

Abstract:

Ancient buildings are a rich tangible asset left over from the thousand-year-old ancient city of Suzhou. Ancient residences are the most numerous architectural form among the ancient buildings in Suzhou and are a typical microcosm of ancient Chinese residences, which is not only one of the main elements of Suzhou as a famous historical and cultural city, but also the most prominent manifestation of its unique ancient city style. In 2021, Suzhou was designated as one of the first batch of pilot cities for urban renewal in China. And the ancient city of Suzhou is actively exploring the revitalization and utilization of traditional residences. Looking back on the 40-plus years of protection and development of the ancient city of Suzhou, through the comparison and reference of multiple projects, the strategic and implementable path references are provided for the urban renewal pilot and the special pilot of the famous city protection demonstration zone in Suzhou from the perspectives of land, policies and finance.
