Abstract:In response to the problems such as low land utilization efficiency, large funding gap and insufficient passenger flow at bus depots and stations, the application path of the TOD model and its effect on increasing passenger flow are explored. By sorting out the current conditions of central urban depots and stations, the bottlenecks such as poor stability of property rights, low development intensity and single functions are identified. Drawing on the experiences of Hangzhou and Wuhan, key measures such as mixed land transfer, innovation in investment and financing mechanisms, and station-city integrated development are extracted. Based on the actual situation of Yichang, the potential depots and stations are screened out, and two differentiated paths, namely the construction of commercial facilities and mixed use, are proposed. A quantitative model between TOD characteristic elements and passenger flow is constructed. Empirical evidence shows that the increase in public transport passenger flow after TOD comprehensive development is significantly correlated with the implementation path. The research result provides the theoretical basis and practical references for the comprehensive development of bus depots and stations in similar cities.
